    Hi Dave,

I learned you are the organizer of the music Hack days in Europe. As Rovi, the company I work for, is interested in participating and sponsoring, I like to get a person on the phone to talk a bit more in detail. Would you please like to provide me a phone number that I may call to get somebody?

    Thanks and best regards,

    Guido (+49 241 4010 860)

    Hi Dave,

my name is Eliandro Lima, I live in Brazil. I had an idea that I believe could revolutionize the world of sharing sounds, particularly podcasts, audioguides and audiobooks. It all started with my blog about travel and tourism (www.tripmais.com.br), where I produce and make available for free audioguides in MP3 format. The idea came when I tried to create a way to make money with my audioguides.
After I had this idea, I started researching the subject on the Internet. It was during this research I discovered Soundcloud. The service you offer matches perfectly with the idea I had. However needs programming and manipulation of sound files, and I do not understand anything about it.
I’m trying to find partners who can do that here in Brazil, but is very difficult to find qualified people for this, moreover, I have no money to hire programmers.
For this reason I decided to contact you to share my idea and request partnership, before someone end up with the same idea and put into practice before me.
You probably know people who can help me in this endeavor.
All I ask of you is 10 minutes of your time for me to explain the idea.
    Would it be possible?

    Many Thanks

Would it be possible to put together a mailing list so we can be notified when music hack days happen? I would love to go to the next one.

    Hey Dave,
We too are interested in having a hack day in the triangle area of North Carolina. What’s the best way to get in touch with somebody to organize? Some friends and I, of course, plan to do all the organizing, but we’d love to have it be an official hack day as you list them on the main site.

    thanks!
